No Content .Arakur is a model in the implementation of environmental and sustainable practices in the region.To avoid the clearing of forests the hotel building was built on the carved natural stone base of the place, reusing the rubble and installing a treated copper roof with the double purpose of integrating the building with the landscape and acting as thermal insulation.Double glazed windows, geothermal cooling, induction cookers, LED lighting, in-room domotics and a waste water treatment plant are some of the technology and facilities specifically installed to protect the environment.Appropriate local natural materials, some of them recycled and others recyclable, have mostly been used in the construction and decor of the hotel, such as local stone cladding, certified lenga wood, salvaged wood, untanned leather, hair-on-hides and 100% natural undyed wool carpets and acoustic panels.
