Sanitation & Cleaning
The cleaning and sanitation of the resort is of the utmost priority. Alila Marea Beach Resort and its guests will experience enhanced measures of cleaning that utilizes CDC-approved disinfectants for the sanitization of high touchpoint spaces throughout the resort through our partnership with Ecolab products and associated training for colleagues, managers and executives.
Staff Safety
Colleagues of Alila Marea face strict protocols to ensure their safety and the safety of our guests. This includes open communication with leaders prior to arriving to work as well as temperature checks upon arrival. In addition, a number of personal protective equipment is compulsory based on the position of the colleague. Lastly, training and team support for required processes of hand sanitization and cleanliness for all colleagues.
Elevators
Elevators will feature communication asking guests to respect social distancing, minimizing the amount of people in the elevator at one time.
Housekeeping
The “Keepers of Clean” will be following a number of mandates guided both by Hyatt Hotels and the state of California. This includes Opt Out opportunities for guestroom servicing to minimize in-room interactions, bagged linens and terry within the guest room to minimize exposure, increased wash temperatures during the laundering process, electro static spraying of spaces and “sit times” for future guests, and CDC-approved disinfectant utilization.
Spa and Wellness
Spa Alila will be following state mandates and recommendations for Hyatt Hotels, inclusive of socially distanced social spaces such as the Relaxation Room and Salon. Locker Rooms will offer limited occupancy and will currently close the indoor Sauna for men and women. Therapists will be equipped with all necessary PPE and specific treatments, such as couples massages, will be ceased at this time.
Indoor/Outdoor Activities
Indoor/Outdoor activities, such as dining or enjoying our pool deck, will be socially distanced by limiting the number of seating options to our guests. In addition, guests will be asked to be masked whenever moving through outdoor social spaces such as the pool deck or outdoor dining until taking their seat.
Parking and/or Valet
Sanitization efforts by the valet team include Sanitizing program for steering wheels on request and specific procedures for hand cleanliness before receiving or delivering vehicles
